Rose Park Psychology and Westbourne Park Psychology are established clinical psychology practices. We offer a financially rewarding and supportive work environment for psychologists who seek a high level of independence in managing their clients and treatment programs. We are a practice that aims to provide a high quality services to our referring GP's and client groups. Psychologists have an attractive office, good clerical support and financial administration and a supply of referrals in their areas of interest. You only need see clients and do associated professional work. We are a lifestyle practice offering substantial choice about number and hours worked and holidays. We are an harmonious and productive work group.
Our clients are predominantly referred by GPs with mental health care plans. We also have a substantial number of private clients and some NDIS clients.
We seek psychologists who are experienced, confident in their work, and have the ability to be independently self managed. You will be offered the opportunity to develop your areas of interest and have choice in the nature of the client load.
Areas of Work
We currently have excess work in the following areas of psychology. It is not required that you work in all of these areas. It would be possible for example to work only in one area.
- Relationship counselling (Gottman)
- Childhood and adolescence psychology
- Family therapy
- Adult clinical work
APHRA registration - clinical registration is desirable, but not essential. We recognise the skills and experience of all psychologists.
At least 5 years post qualification experience.
A high level of training.
Ability to form good rapport with clients.
Type of employment
Salary, subcontracting or casual hours are available.
We pay at the rate of $132 per hour for a clinical psychologist and $108 per hour for a non clinical psychologist.
Part time positions may be appointed instead of one full time person.
