Counsellor/Group Facilitator – Children’s Services - Katherine, NT (Full Time)
As a member of the Children’s Therapeutic Team (CTT) you will be responsible for promoting a high community profile for the Communities for Children and place-based Therapeutic Intervention programs such as; DRUMBEAT and Holding Children Together. This is an Early Intervention Outreach Service that delivers counselling and group work to both children and families, which are referred to RANT by community organisations and Territory Families.
Counsellor – Relationships & Employee Assistance Program Services – Katherine, NT (0.6 FTE)
This part time role is responsible for providing; individual, couple and family counselling on a broad range of issues, including: interpersonal issues, mental health, domestic violence, trauma and work place issues. We welcome and cater to a diverse client base and are looking for a self-motivated, culturally sensitive team member who will be able to contribute within a small team and make regular trips to Darwin, to be supported through individual and group supervision.
Counsellor – Royal Commission into the Protection & Detention of Children – Katherine, NT (0.4 FTE)
For this 6 month contract position, you will provide high quality therapeutic counselling support within a culturally appropriate and trauma informed framework to young people affected by the NT Royal Commission into Child Protection and Detention Facilities and their families. It will involve linking young people and their families to other appropriate support services and networks; collaborating with the Royal Commission and other key stakeholders.

Full-time position based in our Darwin office for an experienced and reflective counsellor who ideally has qualifications in couple therapy. We welcome and cater to a diverse client base and are looking for a culturally sensitive counsellor whose role will include: working with individuals, couples, children and families on a broad range of issues, including: interpersonal issues, mental health, domestic violence, trauma and work place issues.
Applicants for the above positions will need to possess Tertiary Qualifications at Bachelor level or equivalent in a relevant discipline: Psychology, Social Work or Counselling.
