Mount Gambier Prison (MGP) is the only privately managed prison in South Australia, and accomodates male medium and low security prisoners.
As a Psychologist you will be part of a team responsible for the implementation of clinical service delivery at MGP. This includes managing the provision of psychological services to prisoners, facilitation of group treatment programs, individual psychological counselling and testing.
Preparing reports for multiple stakeholders and agencies will also be a key responsibility in this role.
- at least 5 years experience as a practicing Psychologist within either the public or private sector
- relevant clinical qualifications and professional certifications
- strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- strong ability in reporting and documentation
- genuine desire to make an impact for the public good
Superior interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative and creativity will be the key to success in this role.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
This role is based in Mt Gambier, South Australia.

A base salary of $110,000 + 9.5% superannaution will be offered.
