Child and Adolescent Psychologist part time

Living Well Psychology Clinic is a well-established private practice with a sound referral base and a good local reputation. The practice has been operating in the Central Coast region for over a decade and has a growing team.


Currently, there is a rare opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our friendly professional team in Erina on a part-time sessional basis.  The successful applicant will be passionate and committed to working to high standards, delivering evidence-based treatments in order to bring positive change to the lives of our clients.


The position offers:

·       A supportive working environment

·      An attractive boutique-style therapy room in a newly-built and sought after medically-themed office-block located in Erina

·       Electronic diary management, accessible remotely, administrative support including patient intake and management of initial appointments, invoicing & account facilities

·       Peer supervision

·       Flexible hours allowing for weekdays and/or weekend clinic hours

·       Attractive sessional remuneration


Essential criteria:

·       Hold eligibility to provide psychology services under Medicare

·       Hold registration with AHPRA

·       Hold an Australian Business Number (ABN)

·       Hold adequate insurances

·       Display a strong work ethic, including reliability and punctuality

·       Have excellent written communication and record keeping skills

·       Have experience in both assessment and treatment and competency in formulating and implementing treatment plans

·       Display the ability to liaise with general practitioners, psychiatrists, allied health professionals and other referral agencies in addition to clients and their families

·       Maintain a commitment to evidence based therapies and ongoing professional development

·       Have the ability and confidence to work independently

·       Ideally able to offer one weekend or evening session for appointments
