Clinical Psychologist (Consulting-Director)

Clinical Director Role

This position will incorporate Clinical Consultancy in area of focus as well as Clinical Director responsibilities of supervision, mentoring and quality assurance within the practice.  

This is a unique professional opportunity to work in an outstanding private multi-disciplinary setting that provides a highly supportive and positive work environment. 

The remuneration package for this role will be negotiated but the range of $130K-$150K will serve as a guide.

This role provides professional opportunities within a multi-disciplinary practice  working closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, Paediatricians,and Neurologists; Clinical, Developmental and Educational Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Occupational and Behavioural Therapists.

Position Context                                                     

EDUCARE Specialist Services was established as a private practice in Warners Bay in 1998, moving into new state of the art facilities at Charlestown in Jan 2011. 

The practice incorporates: Psychiatry, Paediatrics and Neurology; Clinical, Educational and Developmental Psychologists; Behavioural Therapists; Speech-Language Pathologists; and Occupational Therapists.

Additionally, full administrative support is provided within an integrated IT management system thereby allowing clinicians to concentrate on the delivery of clinical work.

EDUCARE has a very strong GP, school, agency and 'word of mouth' referral base.

Essential Criteria

AHPRA Registration

Clinical Endorsement

Desirable Criteria

Experience within a public or private practice setting

Experience with family and adult therapy

Supervision and mentoring experience
