This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the service provision of a newly developed dual diagnosis clinic at Star Health. The project is funded by the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network and will increase primary health capacity through Star Health’s GP service to work with consumers who have dual diagnosis issues.

To be suitable for the role you will possess the following:

·         A professional qualification in Psychiatric Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work.

·         Experience and demonstrated ability to work within the provision of recovery focused rehabilitation and the harm minimisation model.

·         Experience in supporting people with both mental health and substance use issues (dual diagnosis).

·         To be able to navigate the Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drug service systems.

·         Clear understanding of the challenges experienced by people living in the community who have both mental health and substance use issues.

·         Project management experience; including quality management (professional standards and evaluation), and demonstrated ability in the review and evaluation of programs.
