If you are a highly motivated Psychologist with a strong Clinical Background with a minimum of five years professional experience and have an interest inproviding client-centred and evidence based family sensitive mental healthservices then this position would suit you.
This Team Leader position is responsible for the provision of a full range of mental health service delivery activities including intake, case allocation, comprehensive assessment, risk assessment, treatment planning to Australian Defence Force (ADF) members.
The opportunity to be engaged in a service which provides regular clinical up-skilling, clinical supervision and the ability to work across a service delivery model which incorporates early intervention, mental health promotionand clinical services will provide a varied and interesting job role.
In addition, this position will provide mental health training to ADF members and other health staff within the Joint Health Unit facilities. Further duties of this position may include, organisational psychology functions (job testing and assessment) oversight and responsibility for clinical governance, adherence to legislation and Defence policy and tailoring of clinical services in response to regional demands as part of timely delivery of Mental Health and Psychology services in Victoria.
