The Tasmanian Health Service (South) is
seeking applications for a permanent part-time position as a Psychologist in
the Psychology Services team, 3 days a week.
This is a new position for a clinical
neuropsychologist to undertake outpatient neuropsychological assessments for
non-rehabilitation referrals from geriatrics, neurology, neurosurgery,
cardiology and other medical specialties. Clinic days will be Monday, Tuesday
and Friday, located at the Repatriation Centre, 90 Davey St., Hobart.
The position would suit an endorsed
neuropsychologist with experience in assessment and diagnosis across the adult
and older adult population, although applications from new graduates looking to
complete a registrar program will be considered. Key tasks will include triage
and referral management, neuropsychological assessment and diagnosis,
preparation of formal reports (including medicolegal reports if required),
provision of feedback and communication with referrers. You will need to be
able to independently manage a caseload and work collaboratively with multiple
teams and services.
