Child & Adolescent Psychologist/Inner City Suburbs

In-School Psychology is a leading provider of psychological services for young people in South Australia. We are seeking psychologists who have experience and a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families, to join our lovely team. 

In-School Psychology provides high quality psychological care for children, adolescents, their families and schools. We believe in there being accessible services available to young people so we aim to reduce barriers that prevent young people from being able to access mental health care. We are seeking like-minded psychologists to join our team.

Our service is predominately a psychological counselling service to children and adolescents, however we also provide an assessment service for those psychologists who enjoy conducting psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments.

With the demand for our service continuing to grow we are seeking additional psychologists to join our large team of 15 clinical and educational psychologists who all have a special interest in child and adolescent psychology.

Generous remuneration is offered along with regular peer supervision, professional development opportunities, access to great resources and extensive support. Our psychologists work during school hours, so the position provides a high level of flexibility and all school holidays off.

We are currently filling a position in the inner suburbs, existing caseload, part time position but with capacity for full time.

 Essential criteria required for this role include:

  • Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
  • Minimum of a Masters degree in Psychology (or generally registered psychologists with extensive child and adolescent experience)
  • Eligibility for Medicare rebates
  • Experience in treating mental health concerns in children and adolescents
  • Experience in the use of CBT and other evidence based interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

 Highly desirable criteria include:

  • Being deemed as a Clinical Psychologist under Medicare
