in-patient services, day-patient therapy programs and a community outreach
Our Allied Health team are currently seeking
an experienced and motivated Psychologist
(Grade 3) to develop and deliver innovative programs that provide
high-level clinical care to patients/clients within a group or individual basis
across a variety of acute and psychiatric specialties. By

The successful candidate will have:
A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St
John of God Health Care.
Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of
Australia (AHPRA) with Clinical supervision endorsement.
Extensive knowledge and clinical experience at a senior level in
the use of a variety of contemporary psychotherapeutic techniques e.g. Group
and individual therapy using CBT, DBT, Schema-Focused Therapy and/or ACT
Experience in the use of evidence based best practice treatments
for both short term, longer term, and time limited therapy.
Extensive knowledge and experience in clinical research and
evidence based practise methodologies.
Experience in providing clinical education and supervision to
junior staff and students.
