Multiple opportunities exist for dynamic Clinical Psychologists or Clinical Psychology Registrars to join our team. Working as a part of an integrated community multidisciplinary mental health team, you will be responsible for the delivery of evidence-based psychology-specific assessment, case conceptualisation, consultation, individual and group therapy. You will work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and other staff within the team and the community, striving to develop and implement clinical plans to maximise outcomes for consumers to support recovery and successful community tenure. As part of your role, you will participate in educational, supervision, quality improvement and planning activities. The Mental Health Clinical Program is made up of a range of multidisciplinary teams providing recovery-focused clinical services to consumers. These teams include acute, community and rehabilitation teams in adult and older persons’ services. The severity of the consumer’s mental disorder and/or disability necessitates regular review and follow-up to facilitate improved functioning and community tenure.

You will need to hold an appropriate Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or an equivalent qualification, and have general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). This will be supported by practical experience in working with individuals with mental health conditions, including risk assessment and comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment skills to inform a psychological case conceptualisation and a treatment plan. Confident in contributing to the development and implementation of group therapy programs based upon evidence-based practice, you will demonstrate your ability to maintain therapeutic working relationships whilst working as a Psychologist.

Registrar program supervision towards endorsement in Clinical Psychology can be provided.
