The Hobart Clinic
is a not-for-profit private mental health service. We have been providing
mental health services to Tasmanians for over 30 years. Our organisation is
undergoing its next iteration of development, and we are seeking a non-executive
director who has a passion for mental health and the health care industry. We
offer services across two sites with a hospital and outpatient Clinic.
Our next stage in
development involves a whole of site redevelopment and the roll-out of a series
of infrastructure support systems to integrate both sites. We are about to
commence an exciting new stage of development to a 48-bed mental health hospital.
A voluntary Board
of Directors governs the Hobart Clinic Association and we currently have a
vacancy. The Board is skills-based, and we are seeking a professional:
·
who has an interest in,
lived experience or background in mental health or healthcare
·
who may have clinical
mental health experience
·
who is keen to work as
part of a high functioning team
·
who has or would like to
gain Board experience
The Hobart Clinic
provides the opportunity for regular professional development, support and mentoring
from experienced directors.
Individuals with a
culturally diverse background are encouraged to apply.
