The Role  

An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist or Neuropsychologist – Senior 

 to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. 

You will  

• Use professional knowledge to manage complex behaviours in patients with disabilities, supporting timely discharge and avoiding admissions 

• Deliver high-level assessments, interventions, and care planning aligned with national disability and restrictive practice guidelines 

• Exercise independent clinical judgement in complex cases with minimal supervision 

• Develop and implement clinical practices and protocols to support the model of care 

About you  

To be successful in this position you will require: 

• Tertiary degree in Psychology or equivalent 

• Postgraduate qualification is mandatory for the Neuropsychologist role  

• AHPRA Registration 

• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B 

• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required 

• Driver Licence  

• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed 

• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

• Permanent part time (38 hrs p.f.) 

• Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
