Psychologists with Interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders

Location: Perth, WA
Work Type: Full-time, Part-time or Contract

About ISADD

ISADD (Intervention Services for Autism and Developmental Delay) is a small, independent, not-for-profit organisation and a registered NDIS provider. With a thirty-year history of using evidence-based strategies, we are committed to improving the lives of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Role

We are looking for a positive and forward-thinking psychologist (or two!) to join our committed and enthusiastic team. You would be helping create a better future for our neurodiverse clients and their families.

We are seeking someone able to adapt their skills to the varied needs of toddlers, school-aged children, adolescents and adults, as well as their families. Each case is different and requires empathy, flexibility, and an understanding of behavioural strategies to achieve positive outcomes.

You will be a supported and valued team member, working toward the independence and empowerment of our clients—helping them understand and manage their diagnosis, watching them grow and develop, and supporting their families to navigate the NDIS.

About You

We are looking for a psychologist who:

  • Is forward-thinking and flexible

  • Has the capacity to support a diverse caseload across the lifespan

  • Can work collaboratively and with empathy toward families

  • Is registered (or provisionally registered) with AHPRA

  • Has experience in or a strong interest in autism and developmental delay

Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in the field, though we also welcome those who are genuinely interested in entering the field and building skills in this area.

What We Offer

  • Formal supervision in line with AHPRA requirements (often through co-working or team support)

  • Flexible working arrangements: full-time, part-time or contract

  • A supportive, multidisciplinary environment

  • Opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodiverse individuals and their families

  • Generous remuneration based on qualifications and experience
