Koorana is seeking an experienced Clinical
and/or Registered Psychologist with an interest
in paediatrics to join our Early Intervention & Allied Health team on a permanent
part time basis for two days per week.

About the Role
Working within our transdisciplinary team, you will
be?responsible for providing?psychological services to children aged 0-18 with
additional needs and their families.?We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running to
provide our clients with quality service. You will be working
in a variety of settings?including clinic, community-based (in home, early
education settings and schools) and tele-health. Some of the key
responsibilities are:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments,
including cognitive, emotional, and behavioural evaluations.
·
Administer standardized tests and interpret results
to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
·
Prepare detailed assessment reports with clear
recommendations for interventions.
·
Participating?in
transdisciplinary practice and?consulting?with other relevant agencies.
·
Referring?to other
professionals or agencies as appropriate.
·
Maintaining?a?high
degree?of professional?awareness?regarding?current best practice and research
in the field and?always ensuring the?application of these principles.
·
Gradually working up
to maintaining?a clinical caseload.
About You?
To be successful in
this role, you will need:
·
Several
years clinical experience, having developed a wide range of skills including
the ability to engage teams in multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary practice
approaches.
·
The
ability to provide clinical supervision if necessary.
· Experience in delivering?therapy within?natural learning
environments?and?working with children with additional learning needs.
·
To have
outstanding?time management?skills.
·
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
·
To be able to work
collaboratively within a multidisciplinary?team.
·
The desire to be
challenged and progress further as a?therapist.
·
The ability to work
autonomously and be efficient at problem?solving.
·
To have a
demonstrated?ability to work in a culturally diverse community and build strong
relationships with?families.
Qualifications &
Certifications
·
A recognised degree
in?Psychology.
·
Current AHPRA
Registration (Psychology).
·
Working with Children
Check.
·
National Police Check.
·
Current Drivers
licence.
