About Psychwest Psychology and Consulting Group
Psychwest is a growing private psychology practice located in the CBD of Parramatta, NSW. We provide consulting in Forensic Psychology, with a primary focus on assessments, reports and treatment for clients engaged in the criminal justice system. We also offer general psychological services to a diverse client population who present with a vast range of mental health concerns, and treatment needs.
At Psychwest, we pride ourselves on offering highly professional, evidence based assessment and treatment services, in a relaxed and supportive working environment.
We are looking for a Forensic and/or Clinical psychologist to join Psychwest initially for 1-2 days per week, with potential opportunities for additional work as demand for services continues to increase.
We are seeking an individual who has experience in the area of Forensic Psychology, and we are specifically interested in someone who has demonstrated experience in the assessment, case formulation, medico-legal report writing, and therapeutic intervention with clients involved in the criminal justice system.
However, we would also welcome applications from Psychologists who have less experience in Forensic Psychology, but have an interest in expanding their existing practice experience and skills to include this client population, whilst at the same time complementing our forensic practice with their additional clinical experience.
The position will be on a sub-contract basis, with remuneration commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience. We would also be willing to negotiate incentive based rates for any applicant who is able to contribute to the ongoing growth of the business by establishing and engaging new referral sources.
