Clinical/Child /General Psychologist

KCPSYCH is an established and reputable private psychology practice spanning from Brisbane City to Caboolture. The team consists of a diverse range of practitioners and services, and an integrative allied health team at our Nundah office. We are experiencing growth and are looking for the following practitioners to join our team:

City and Nundah- work available for both part time and full -time. Varied caseload of clients, assessment work, individual and group therapy options.

Senior Clinical  Psychologist - Nundah and City- an opportunity exists for an experience Clinical Psychologist to work in a senior capacity for supervision and support to our growing team of Psychologists, and to also complete clinical work. This would suit someone who would like to work 4 -5 days a week and work alongside the Director in line with the companies visions and goals. Experience in a management capacity or someone looking for career growth is desirable. Minimum 2 years working experience required.

Child Psychologist- Child Psychologist 2 days a week minimum required. Take your own client fees under a room rental model. Work alongside our three other Psychologists and Speech and OT Service.

The successful applicants will provide psychological support to children and adolescents with emotional, behavioural, developmental and social issues. Work is varied and may include individual therapy, group programs and developmental assessment and reporting for children and adolescents. This may include working with children and adolescents and their families, schools and referring agents, with depression, trauma, developmental issues, phobias, grief and loss, separation anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and general issues (e.g. school refusal, bullying, school transition).  Child based play resources are provided. There is a supportive child based team and access to supervision and peer review in house.

We provide a warm, supportive, and professional work environment. We can provide your own fully serviced room and reception service. We have an established referral network and there is flexibility with working hours and areas of interest.

Professional development options within the group occur on a regular basis. Option for supervision can be arranged.
