Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist – Child and Adolescent

Buckley Consulting Group is seeking an experienced psychologist to join their ever expanding team to provide psychological assessment and treatment for children and adolescents.

The current position is for 2-days per week, with the opportunity to extend if desired. The successful applicant will likely commence with an immediate client base as one of our existing clinicians will be taking maternity leave shortly and has a number of clients requiring continued treatment and support.

The position is available on a sub-contracting basis, with Buckley Consulting Group committed to ensuring all contractors are clinically satisfied and fulfilled.

Position Requirements

Buckley Consulting Group is seeking an applicant who has:

Ø  Clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families

Ø  Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

Ø  Eligibility for registration with Medicare

Ø  Professional and public indemnity insurance

Ø  A current Working with Children Check and police check

Ø  Capacity to work evenings

Desired criteria

Buckley Consulting Group is seeking an applicant who has:

Ø  Experience working in public mental health settings and/or private practice

Ø  Demonstrated skill and experience providing evidence based psychological treatment

Ø  Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

Ø  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
