Opportunity for Independent Clinical Psychologist to work within a well-established and thriving private practice in Ballina, Northern NSW.
The North Coast Centre for Clinical Psychology & CBT has been established since 1994 and has a reputation as a centre of excellence on the NSW Far North Coast. All of our 6 clinical staff members have Masters or Doctorate Degrees in Clinical Psychology.
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our caring and supportive team of experienced clinical psychologists to provide assessment and treatment for Adult Clients referred to our clinic. Expressions of interest from Child Clinical Psychologist will also be considered.
The job offers flexibility and independence, clinical support, access to a large number of clinical resources, all within a very happy, collegial, and caring work environment.
The Clinic has 5 consulting rooms. It is bright, modern, welcoming, and a great place to work. There is a large waiting room, kitchen, reception area, onsite parking and only a few minutes from the river and the beach.
Adult presentations typically seen in the clinic include; depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, adjustment to illness, psycho-oncology, work cover, body image, self-esteem, sleep disorders, relationship work, and trauma. We use evidence-based treatments such as CBT, mindfulness, and ACT.
The position provides an opportunity to develop the clinician's specific interests in particular conditions.
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist –(recent graduates with appropriate experience will be considered.)
Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
Full registration with AHPRA
Solid training in CBT and other evidence-based treatments
Excellent communication skills – written and oral, professional integrity, and a great sense of humour!
