Full-time OR Part time Salaried Position in Sydney's Western suburbs

Or are you a provisional psychologist (4+2 or 5+1) looking to complete your training with a supportive organisation whilst developing strong clinical skills? 

Back2Work are a team of psychologists dedicated to supporting the goal of employment attainment for some of the most disadvantaged and worthy people in our community. Back2Work have a genuine national footprint, over a decade of evidence in support of a ‘work first’ intervention frame work and proven results in changing lives. 

As a part of a multidisciplinary team you will apply state of the art evidence based interventions and psychoeducation in support of a diverse and rewarding client base. In conjunction with our trading partners you will develop and implement strategies designed for participants to leverage strengths and self supports to secure the goal and privileges of employment attainment.

Back2Work have designed this role for full time clinicians who take a hands on approach to intervention and have established or developing skills in assessment, individual intervention, group facilitation and psychoeducation.

We are open to this role being a full or part time position for the right candidate. It is based in the Western suburbs of Sydney and we are seeking those who are Arabic Speaking to service sites consisting of Arabic Spreaking clients.

Role Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist or eligible as a provisional psychologist 
  • The right attitude, optimism and problem-solving skills to help clients navigate challenges 
  • To be extraverted and tenacious
  • Well-developed IT skills to pick up our case management and report writing systems
  • An ability to learn quickly 
  • Experience in liaising and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understanding of the DSM-5 in the diagnosis of mental health disorders
  • Understanding or previous delivery of evidence-based brief psychological interventions (eg. CBT, MI, SFBT)
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in a commercial environment
