Navy Psychology provides psychological support to Navy’s uniformed workforce and contributes directly to Navy’s capability and national security. The Navy Psychology team at HMAS Cerberus (Crib Point, Victoria) comprises of high-performing civilian and uniformed psychologists, and is a valued element of the overall Navy team. The Navy Psychologist role strengthens the Navy workforce by delivering best-practice resilience and mental health programs, and by working with Navy leadership to optimise members’ performance. The role offers the opportunity to deliver psychological skills in an organisational setting, such as performing suitability assessments, critical incident responses, mental health training and work-related counselling.
This is a civilian (non-uniformed) role, as part of the Australian Public Service (APS) workforce within Navy.

· Full and unconditional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
