We are currently seeking clinicians to join Forensic Intervention Services, a new program area of Corrections Victoria dedicated to making our community safer by reducing re-offending.

A day in the life of our clinicians

You will work out of Corrections Victoria’s new headquarters in Melbourne’s CBD, joining a supportive team committed to rehabilitating offenders. This job offers a great variety of work, and below is just a sample of some of the tasks you may undertake on any given day.

·       Apply behavioural therapy methods to offenders, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

·       Deliver programs directly to offenders using evidence-based tools and systems.

·       Address criminal behaviour and encourage positive change.

·        Determine treatment pathways and prepare plans and reports.

How you will be a high performer

·       Possess resilience, maturity and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
