About the role:
§ Working with kids/teens with mental health
difficulties and/or neurodevelopmentally diverse conditions
§ Assessment of needs, implement interventions for
anxiety, mood, challenging behaviours, self-regulation, affect regulation,
parent psychoeducation, interpersonal skills, and ASD/ADHD screening if
§ Liaising with schools, providing psychoeducation
and support to families
§ Possible opportunities for focussing on ASD
§ The position is very flexible and could be
part-time or subcontracting, we can build the role around your preferences.
§ A wonderful opportunity for early career

Essential to the role:
ü Fully registered psychologist (AHPRA)
ü Eligible to register with Medicare
ü Professional indemnity insurance
ü Have great clinical intervention skills
ü Great communication skills and focus on teamwork
§ At least two years post registration experience
§ Demonstrated experience in engaging and working
effectively with children/adolescents who are on the spectrum
