We are looking for a permanent part time psychologist/clinical psychologist to join our team. You will be looking for a secure and permanent private practice position, which allows youto enjoy all that private practice offers, without the administrative demands that can make private practice so challenging. We take care of all of that. You will love what you do, be hardworking, and self-motivated towards ongoing professionaldevelopment and self-care. You will bring with you, your clinical interests, experience and areas of expertise that will complement our team, and we will support you to create the private practice career that you have envisaged for yourself.
Motivating Minds Psychological Practice (est. 2008), and our sister company Motivating Marriages Psychology (est. 2017), seek to provide best practice, evidence based psychological interventions to individuals and families. Across our two businesses we seek to meet immediate clinical needs of clients in crisis and we are dedicated to working at the back end of mental health, providing psycho-education and preventative services through our workshops. As a team we are skilled and experienced in working with complex personality presentations and trauma, in both individuals and families. In addition we treat general psychological problems such as depression, anxiety and stress, and we also provide Work Cover treatment and facilitate Gottman Couples and Parenting workshops.
AHPRA Full Registration
Minimum 3 years clinical experience
Medicare Approved Provider (or willing to obtain)
Work Cover Approved Provider (willingness to obtain)
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Willingness to work some after hours and Saturday morning shifts
Willingness to work with therapy dog on site
