About Wise Institute
Wise Institute is one of Sydney’s
best regarded psychology practices as we approach 20 years of service to the
community and have over 100 years of collective psychology experience on the
team. Our clinic provides evidence-based psychology services to children, adolescents,
adults, couples and families on the Lower North Shore using individual, family
and group programs.
Our team are well supported personally
and professionally through our wellbeing initiatives, administrative services,
and dedicated staff. We approach our work with a community mindset, supporting each
other through formal and informal crossover which include complex case review
committee meetings, peer consult meetings, supervision, training, ongoing

Role Description
We are seeking Psychologists,
Clinical Psychologists or Clinical Psychology Registrars with an interest in
working with adults, adolescents and/or children. We welcome candidates who
wish to work with one of more of these populations and whom have additional
specific interests. We offer the freedom to choose your preferred
evidence-based approach to your work.
This position would suit psychologists
who enjoy ongoing learning and growth across all stages of their career. This
may be an experienced psychologist who would enjoy working as a contractor in a
warm, collegial environment and/or providing supervision to less experienced
clinicians; or an early career psychologist who would appreciate the additional
support that we provide to reach their personal and professional development
goals. We foster and support ethical and sustainable work practices for clinicians
at all levels of experience.

to learn and grow.
Essential
Criteria

General registration with AHPRA
·
Eligibility for registration with Medicare
·
Open, flexible and collaborative approach to
your work with clients, colleagues and organisations
·
Attentive and highly attuned interpersonal
skills, ability to track shifts in affect and comfortability with discussing process
issues with clients
·
Professional in your interactions whilst being
engaging, genuine and compassionate
·
For those seeing children and adolescents, availability
to see clients after school, during the evening and/or Saturdays is required
to best meet the needs of those populations
