About Brainy
We are a practice that focuses on
the delivery of assessments for families seeking clarity on the learning
challenges experienced by students. Brainy is as out-of-clinic service meaning
that assessments are completed in the school setting. We have established a
reputation in the diagnostic assessment for specific learning disorder. We also
work in the areas of intellectual disability assessment/diagnosis and
multidisciplinary diagnosis for autism, behaviour, and mood disorders.
The role
We are looking for an
enthusiastic graduate to join our assessment team. This position offers
flexible casual work. With an ever-increasing referral list there is the
capacity for case load to increase quickly at the preference of the
psychologist. Supervision for case formulation and report writing will be
provided.
There is also the opportunity for
further supervision forming part of professional development or for those
wanting to complete Educational and Developmental Psychology endorsement.
Required skills
- Experience administering the Wechsler scales
- Well-developed report writing skills
- Competence in feedback of results to relevant
stakeholders
- Good record keeping skills
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
Essential requirements
- Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
- ABN/ACN
- Professional indemnity/liability insurance
- Driver’s license/ability to travel to complete
assessments
- Access to iPad(s)
