An exciting opportunity exists for a psychologist to join a well-established child and adolescent psychology practice in Western Sydney. The team at Asciak and Associates is proud of their reputation for excellence when providing psychological assessment and intervention services to children, adolescents, and their families.

Our team is friendly, inclusive and committed to life-long learning. We value spending time together as a team, sharing skills, resources and expertise during peer supervision, as well as our shared lunch breaks. We have recently moved into a newly refurbished building with excellent facilities (including access to public transport, ample parking and access to an on-site gym). Our staff have opportunities for career development/advancement and are supported to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We have low staff turnover and psychologists are well supported with all aspects of administration. Catherine Asciak, the practice director is a Board Approved Supervisor and regular supervision opportunities are available as part of the position if required.

Our practice is continuing to grow, and we are looking for the right psychologist to join our team as soon as possible. The successful applicant will receive a salary that reflects their skills and experience. Opportunities for additional bonuses and paid professional development are also available.

Our psychologists have opportunities to conduct a range of assessments as well as provide intervention services to children and adolescents who are highly motivated to make positive changes. Our psychologists have caseloads that are varied and flexible to ensure that staff well-being is prioritized.

We offer a mix of face-to-face and telehealth consultations at our Penrith practice, along with opportunities to work from home when possible/appropriate. The successful applicant would ideally work for at least 3 days per week, however 2 days may be considered. 

The successful applicant will have:

Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA

Eligibility to register with Medicare

Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Demonstrated experience in engaging and working effectively with children/adolescents and their families

Current APS membership is also desirable
