THE
OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $121,235 per annum pro rata + 11%
super + annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus. Travel to other
campuses will be required.
WWCC: Appointment to this position
is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children
Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position
is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of
employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

Wellbeing at our esteemed Institute! You'll play a crucial role in supporting
the mental health and welfare of our students, travelling to all our campuses.
Your responsibilities include overseeing counselling services, leading a
dedicated team of counsellors and welfare officers, and fostering collaboration
across departments to cultivate a supportive campus atmosphere.

ABOUT YOU
Possess a
postgraduate qualification in psychology and registration with the Psychology
Board of Australia.
Demonstrate
strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for individuals with diverse
needs, along with a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Exhibit
familiarity with relevant legal/ethical standards governing psychology, counselling,
and child safety, including legislative requirements within a tertiary
education context.
Showcase
expertise in navigating external mental health agencies and community services,
alongside a commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation.
Display
proven experience in leading and strategically managing a diverse team, emphasising
client-focused service and resource management.
Demonstrate expertise
in setting and maintaining workplace standards, addressing sensitive
information with discretion, and adapting services to align with organisational
goals and priorities.
