Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist

We are looking for a full-time employed psychologist to join our growing boutique psychology practice located in Beaudesert (easy commute from Brisbane or the Gold Coast).

Ø  Fulltime position with generous salary ($80,000)

Ø  Flexibility in preferred case load, work hours, client presentations

Ø  Experienced practitioners and new graduates encouraged to apply

About our practice

Our practice is well established with more than 20 years experience servicing the communities of the Scenic Rim Region – one of Queensland’s highest growth areas.  We have excellent relationships with a range of referring GPs and medical specialists and work with clients of all age groups, conducting individual, family and couples therapy. All therapy is provided on a private practice basis. In addition to Medicare referrals, we also see clients under the Better Outcomes initiative, EAP, Open Arms (defence force personnel and their family members), insurance and WorkCover claims, and via NDIS funding.

We have an electronic diary with integrated payments, rebates, questionnaires, and notes functions (Halaxy) and excellent processes for supporting our therapists to maintain the number and type of clients they prefer to work with within a schedule that they choose.

About the role/s

We are currently swamped with referrals for both children and adults. Thus, we are open to candidates who may prefer working with particular client groups or presentations.

We are especially keen to hear from therapists with a special interest in working with children on the autistic spectrum and their families both in one-on-one therapy as well as in groups. We have developed in-house group programs for Emotion Regulation and Social Skills Development for children on the spectrum.

Additional benefits

We take care of all the behind the scenes aspects – finding clients, managing bookings, billing, rebates, sending off correspondence, following up the correct referrals and paperwork, ensuring Medicare compliance, and so forth. We can also provide professional and business mentoring as desired. Our goal is to fully support our therapists so they can best support their clients.

Our therapists are fully supported clinically and are able to access internal supervision as required at no charge.

About our requirements

We do require that our psychologists are fully qualified, registered with AHPRA and are eligible for a Medicare provider number.

We are open to therapists with extensive experience and new graduates alike. We simply want therapists who are passionate, professional and who share our values of Rigour, Collaboration, Unconditional Positive Regard, Egalitarianism, and Professionalism.

If a country-style environment, without the stress and pace of the inner-city rat-race sounds appealing to you, please send us your CV/resume and contact us to talk through the details. To apply, or for more information, please contact our Director – Challee O’Reilly reception@lavenderhouse.net.au.
