Wellbeing at Swinburne is a modern, award winning, well-established practice at Swinburne University, Hawthorn, Victoria.
University owned, our multi-disciplinary practice comprises of an experienced team of General Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, who are supported by friendly administration and support staff.
Our clients are University students, studying both Higher Education and TAFE courses. University staff also use the service.
We are a mixed billing clinic with students being bulked billed through Medicare or the students OSHC (Overseas Health Care). Staff and community fall under private billing.
Due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting
§ Psychologists/ Clinical Psychologist
§ This is a contracted position under a license agreement
Our focus is on creating a supportive environment for you to develop and grow your skills in working with your clients and developing your own private practice.
All billing, invoicing, client bookings, reminders, debt collection, computer supplies, and IT support are provided for you. Essentially you can just focus on being a Psychologist. This job would suit a professional & motivated clinician who would like to contribute to our current clinical team.
COVID 19: Whilst our Practitioners are working off campus, they are very involved in providing telehealth to all our clients.

§ A warm, approachable manner, with the ability and confidence to work independently
§ Excellence in a range of therapeutic approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc)
§ Experience in working with young adults is highly desirable
§ Experience working with or have an interest in working with the LGBTQI groups
