Sunlight Psychology is an expanding, boutique clinic on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, providing assessment and therapy for children, young people, and young adults.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate psychologist to be part of a close team that values the client-practitioner relationship, while providing evidence-based therapies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Sunlight Psychology works with a range of diverse presentations, including neurological conditions such as Autism and ADHD, mental health conditions, adjustment disorders, trauma, and attachment. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively with stakeholders, including parents, schools, GPs, paediatricians, and other allied health staff, to holistically support our client families.

The position offers a spacious clinical room, with access to child and adolescent-specific resources, secure referral base, administrative support, kitchen, and car parking.

You will receive individual and group peer supervision to help hone your clinical and business skills. Daily case load expectations are very reasonable and flexible.

We offer subcontract positions with competitive remuneration. Package is inclusive of accredited supervision from a Board-Approved Supervisor for Clinical Psychology Registrars. Minimum 2 days, with opportunity to increase hours over time. Option to do admin from home.

§ Registration with AHPRA

§ Eligibility for Medicare provider number

§ Professional Indemnity Insurance

§ Excellent communication skills (written and interpersonal)

§ Experience in delivering creative and evidence-based interventions to children and young people


§ Master of Psychology (Clinical)

§ Experience in working with Autism

§ Assessment skills in Autism, ADHD, cognitive, and adaptive behaviour assessments

Job Type: Subcontract

Salary: $115.00 – $160.00 per hour
