What you can accomplish in the role
Joining a dynamic and dedicated team of professionals you
will relish the opportunity to strengthen the Discipline of Psychology by
pursuing high quality teaching, developing innovative curriculum, contributing
to research, research supervision and administration. You will become instrumental in developing and
delivering innovative curriculum in our undergraduate program which is pivotal
to student engagement and success
What you will bring to the role
With a PhD in Psychology, you can demonstrate strong
management, leadership, and negotiation skills an established research
portfolio and evidence of exceptional teaching in any or several of the core
foundational areas of psychology, including research and statistics, memory and
cognition. You will work well independently as well as in teams and have a
track record of achieving ambitious goals in tight deadlines. Creative
problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills will also be
essential to succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role.
Bordered by the Coral Sea, the Wet Tropics and the Outback,
has a vibrant natural landscape, rich Indigenous history and beautifully
preserved Federation architecture. Located
approximately 1350 kms north of Brisbane (or a 1.50hr flight) and 350 kms south
