At the Cognitive Assessment Clinic, we provide psychological consultation to adolescents and adults. Evidence–based psychological treatments including CBT and ACT are delivered to people struggling with a range of difficulties including, but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessional disorders and relationship issues. We also provide neuropsychological assessments of adults and adolescents.

We have a diverse referral base comprising of GPs, specialists, lawyers, organisations and self-referrers. Clinicians at the clinic see a diverse range of clients that ensures interesting caseloads and ongoing professional learning and evolution. There is provision for training in brief neurocognitive assessment. Additionally, there are ongoing case consultation and professional development structures in place for the successful applicant.

We have modern, large, bright rooms with balconies. We are based in Holt Street, Surry Hills with vibrant surrounding environs featuring cafes, restaurants, and great access to public transport.

The clinic is expanding due to increased workflow. We are seeking two experienced clinical psychologists to start as soon as possible. Each position is a consultant contractor role - i.e., self-employed, with flexibility to work between 1 and 3 days per week.

To be eligible you will:

• You will be registered with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia) as a Medicare provider.
• Have own professional indemnity/public liability insurance.
• You will possess good clinical skills and experience working with adults and young people.
• Hold police and working with children clearances.
