About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality specialist, case management mental Health service to child and youth persons with serious mental health problems and their families in Charters Towers.

The mental health clinician will work collaboratively with consumers and multidisciplinary professionals to provide clinical care and a therapeutic environment conducive to the dignity and well-being of consumers and carers with the Mental Health Service.

What’s on offer?
Permanent Full-time position.

Remuneration package of up to $132,730 p.a., comprising base salary range of $76,747 - $116,332 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (HP3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Eligible health workers who make the move to work with us may receive up to $70,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme (conditions apply).

Please note: applies to interstate and international relocation. Eligible workers already working in Queensland within an MM1-MM3 location who relocate to take up this role may also be eligible for this incentive.

The successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution.  Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required.
