Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, formulations and diagnoses of mental health conditions. 
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for clients across the lifespan, with a focus on the perinatal period, including pregnancy-related mental health challenges, post-partum issues, and fertility struggles.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of the client. 
  • Collaborate and coordinate care with other practitioners or medical providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in clinical psychology and implement them in your practice.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Current full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Masters degree or doctorate in Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited program.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
  • Experience or a strong interest in the perinatal and postpartum field, or working with children and adolescents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
