    • A current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
    • Minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience in mental health within the last 5 years, including comprehensive assessments and delivering evidence based “Focussed Psychological Strategies”.
    • A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate (HLTAID009).
    • Familiarity with state/territory policies, national standards, and ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-2023 is advantageous.
    • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain/maintain a Baseline Defence security clearance.

    ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.     About the Role
    In this role, you'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre, focusing on addressing the diverse mental health needs of active ADF members. Your support begins with initial intake and assessment, allowing flexibility to address individual needs effectively. You'll have the opportunity to utilize psychometrics and tailor treatments to align with your skills, interests, and scope of practice.

    Autonomy is granted in managing your caseload, including overseeing and managing externally referred cases and providing treatment to Defense members. Furthermore, you'll be supported in managing crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, and developing risk management plans as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary approach.
