Role Description
This is a contract role for a Registered Psychologist and a Permanent Part-Time role for a Provisional Psychologist with Guiding Light Psychology located in Bankstown, NSW. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, treatment, and support for a variety of mental health concerns. The Psychologist will also be responsible for counselling clients through the use of evidence-based treatments, as well as conducting ongoing evaluations and assessments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Provisional or Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
- Ability to obtain Medicare Provider number (only applicable for psychologists with full registration)
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Enthusiastic, passionate and driven psychologist with strong work ethic
- Experience in providing evidence-based therapy
- Demonstrated experience working with adults/adolescents and/or children to support a range of emotional and social issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a team
- Newly registered psychologists are encouraged to apply
