At Medical First group, you will be part of building something never seen before in the Latrobe Valley; a new NDIS support service hub. We aim to provide NDIS support to our community by having all the services offered in one location. We will support you and provide you with the tools you need to succeed. It is an exciting time to be involved in a cohesive primary healthcare team which includes nurses, GP’s and allied health. As an Allied Health Professional, you will support NDIS participants to enrich and uphold their independence in the community and at home.
Responsibilities and Purpose:
- - Work closely with families, other Allied Health Professionals to deliver assessment and intervention services, from early intervention to 65 years of age, to either private or NDIS participants.
- - Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments (e.g. Autism, cognitive, behavioural) and deliver feedback to families.
- - Write progress reports/supporting documentation to the NDIS on participant's NDIS future plan needs.
- - Keep participants electronic records up to date.
- - Work with other Allied Health professionals in the team to deliver excellent service delivery and a multidisciplinary approach where required.
Qualifications and Memberships:
- - Registered as a Psychologist with APHRA.
- - Degrees in Psychology.
- - Working with Childrens check.
- - NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- - Full rights to work in Australia.
- - National Police Clearance.
