Broad objective

Working in a dynamic and collaborative team, the Provisional Psychologist/Mental Health Counsellor plays a pivotal role in the support of our students and families across the Roseville College wellbeing programs. Under the supervision of our experienced and registered psychologists this an opportunity to gain invaluable experience and develop your skills while providing essential services to our students and families.

This position is 2 days per week, term time for a period of formal supervision of up to 24 months.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Mental Health Professional (3/4-year equivalent).
  • Provisional registration as a Psychologist or have a Mental Health accreditation through AHPRA.
  • Experience building rapport and developing positive relationships with children and parents.
  • Determination and motivation for professional growth.
  • A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients e.g., students with disabilities, behavioural concerns and neurodiversity. – High level of verbal and written communication.
  • Desire to build and drive strong student community relationships. – Ability to communicate effectively to individuals, groups, parents and staff.
  • Maintain up to date, accurate and complete written records
  • Demonstrated commitment to Christian values Applications
