Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
The position of Psychologist-Advanced will:
- Deliver advanced-level expertise in discipline-specific and diagnostic child development services for children and their families as part of a multi-disciplinary Child Development Service team across multiple sites of a designated Service Area.
- Lead service-wide and contribute at a State-wide level to discipline and evidence based child development knowledge and practice.
- Lead child development practice change and provide discipline-specific and child development professional leadership support (including education and training); and lead and support clinical practice supervision to less experienced psychologists.
- Provide operational support to CDS Service Area Team Leader as required
