The Role:
- Provide psychological assessment and diagnosis, including the use of formal psychological tests as required.
- Provide psychological treatment including the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of specialised treatment programs.
- Prepare formal psychological reports for Community Corrections, Parole Board, Mental Health Tribunal and Courts as required.
- Work within the multidisciplinary team and participate in case management reviews to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with, and participate in, the formulation, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement, risk management, ethical research activities and other strategies consistent with best practice.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve months.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $106,966 - $118,114 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- A 6.5% correctional allowance applies to this position
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia
- Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Endorsed with the Psychology Board of Australia in the approved areas of Forensic and/or Clinical Psychology
