The Opportunity
Multiple opportunities exist to join the CAMHS team as
a Clinical Psychologist AHP2 or as an AHP1 if
provisionally registered and completing Master’s or Doctoral Degree requirements
within 6 months of commencement of employment.

As a CAMHS Clinical Psychologist, you will;
- Provide
high quality mental health services for children, adolescents and their
families
- Provide
a range of specialist, evidence-based interventions
- Contribute
discipline specific expertise and be supported to develop your clinical
knowledge and expertise within a multi-disciplinary team
- Participate
in the identification of mental health needs in the community.
- Undertake
standardised, reliable and validated psychometric assessments.
- Demonstrate
competency in a range of evidence based therapeutic interventions.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is
a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN
across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex
mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young
people up to 18 (16 in some areas) and perinatal women. Services are delivered
predominantly in the community and where needs are acute, in hospital-based
settings.
