Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is seeking a suitably qualified Psychology Educator for an exciting position in Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

The Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (AMHWS), forming part of Mildura Base Public Hospital, offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region.

The Role:
The Psychology Educator position is responsible for the development of the psychology workforce, psychology registrar program and for all post-graduate psychology student placements across MBPH Mental Health Services. The Psychology Educator will work within the Mental Health Learning and Development Team and contribute towards the education and mentoring of all Mental Health staff.
Full-time or part-time applications will be considered. The position offers some flexibility in rostering, Monday to Friday.
The position is remunerated according to the relevant EBA as Psychologist Grade 5.
About You:
The successful applicant will be a Clinical Psychologist with a Masters in Clinical Psychology, along with registration or membership with the relevant body.
You will be passionate about developing a career in Mental Health and have extensive clinical experience working in a Mental Health setting.
The successful applicant will have the ability to deliver education and provide supervision and training for all Mental Health staff with a focus on psychology specific needs.

The regional Mental Health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to priority positions across state funded Mental Health services in rural and regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $10,000. * Eligibility criteria to qualify for this incentive apply.
