About the
role
In this position you will be accountable for leadership, innovation, and
excellence in the continuum of care for Rural and Remote Mental Health Services
which are located across multiple sites within the Mental Health Service Group
of Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
The incumbent
manages the operational delivery of clinical services in partnership with the
Clinical Director of the Rural and Remote program and assists the other
Director of Allied Health position in the provision of leadership for Allied
Health professionals.
The role is
also accountable for the administration direction and control of the asset
management and financial management of one or more of the relevant cost centres
in the program streams.

Remuneration
package of up to $190,788 p.a., comprising base salary range of $161,540 -
$167,217 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (HP6), recreational leave
loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Role requirements
The successful applicant must
possess a four year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an
accredited tertiary institution and current registration with the Psychology
Board Board of Australia.
Possession of a
Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited tertiary
institution, or significant progress towards this, would be highly
regarded.
