CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST / PSYCHOLOGIST / REGISTRAR
Reputable Private Child, Adolescent, and
Family Clinical Psychology Practice on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and
Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Dynamic, widely experienced team and supportive environment
(supervision available for suitable Registrar) 2 days per week minimum
preferred (more days available).
An exciting opportunity to work with our supportive and
dynamic team of professionals at Kids & Co. on the Northern Beaches of
Sydney with offices in Balgowlah and Mona Vale. We are looking for another warm
and dynamic Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist / Registrar to join us
now.
We provide a high standard of clinical care and effective
evidenced-based assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and their
families presenting with a range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression,
emotional dysregulation, behavioural problems, parent-child relationship
difficulties, trauma, self-harm, ADHD, ASD, and separated family
concerns.
We keep the needs of children and young people front and
centre. We value the therapeutic relationship and have a genuine desire
to support our clients to achieve change in their lives. It is important
that you are able to build strong rapport with clients in a consistently warm,
kind, and professional manner, and communicate effectively. You will be a
reliable, organised and punctual professional who works well within a
supportive team environment and with our referral base.
Contractor will have:
- Current,
or eligible for, AHPRA Registration (Psychologist)
- Demonstrated
ability to be reliable, organised and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Medicare
Provider Eligibility
- Commitment
to and experience providing evidenced based treatments. At Kids & Co.
we use a variety of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TFCBT, DBT, Schema
Therapy, Narrative Therapy, ACT, COS, Family Therapy, EMDR.
- Demonstrated
experience working with children, adolescents, families and/or adults.
- Demonstrated
ability to build strong rapport with clients in a consistently
professional manner.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility
for an ABN and professional indemnity insurance for working as a
Contractor.
- Current
Working with Children Clearance.
