About the job
As a Senior Digital Clinical Content Writer, you will leverage your clinical expertise (ideally with young people) to design and develop engaging, evidence-based digital therapy journeys that empower young people accessing Orygen Digital services.
Key responsibilities:
- Design digital therapy journeys based on empirically supported psychological models, ensuring they target key mechanisms of change and address diverse youth mental health challenges.
- Develop engaging content by writing and designing therapy activities that align with an evidence-based framework, meeting project priorities and deadlines.
- Review and mentor content team members by providing line management, guidance, and feedback on clinical and creative content.
- Enhance therapy experiences by supporting the creation of multimedia content (e.g., audio, video) within project timelines.
Skills and experience
The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (preferably postgraduate or working towards postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Developmental Psychology).
- Clinical experience: Experience working with adolescents and young adults to address mental health challenges.
- Evidence-based knowledge: Strong understanding of psychological interventions and the mechanisms underpinning common youth mental health conditions.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to see the bigger picture and integrate treatment strategies, youth-focused content, and digital engagement techniques effectively.

This a 0.6 to 1 FTE (flexibility with FTE available), contract role based in Melbourne.
