Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with food allergies? The ASH Allergy Brave Program is Australia’s only manualised CBT program designed to help children (6-17 years) manage anxiety, worry, and fear related to their severe food allergy diagnosis.

Allergy Support Hub is a not-for-profit organisation, and with the generous support of Telethon, we proudly offer this program free of charge to families across WA. We’re looking for a Provisional or Early Career Psychologist to join our experienced team of psychologists who are experts in allergy-related anxiety.

About the Role:
  • Start by managing intake sessions and parent consultations.
  • Move into counselling sessions as you gain experience and training in our structured program.
  • Work alongside leading psychologists in the field of allergy anxiety.
  • Work in collaboration with a range of allergy health professionals including immunologists, dietitians and nurses.
  • Support children and families on their allergy journeys.
  • Be part of a small, dedicated team based in West Perth.

About You:
  • Relevant qualification in psychology (AHPRA registration required).
  • Passionate about supporting children and families with allergic conditions.
  • Eager to learn from experienced clinicians in a unique and specialised field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in anxiety, CBT and graded exposure helpful but not essential.
  • A background or understanding of allergic conditions is also helpful.

What we offer
  • One of a kind opportunity - this is Australia's only program of it's kind!
  • Work alongside experts in the field of allergy anxiety.
  • A small friendly team
  • Flexibility
  • Training & development in a specialised area of psychology.
  • Supportive, collaborative and fun team environment.
  • An opportunity to make a difference in a grass roots charity
