The role's
purpose is to enhance community safety by facilitating the effective risk management,
supervision and improved rehabilitation of offenders.
The purpose of
this role is to enhance community safety by facilitating the
effective risk management, supervision and improved rehabilitation of
offenders deemed high harm/complex needs. The Senior Practitioner, SCS
conducts a range psychometric offender centric assessments, provides case
formulation, evidence based intervention and operational case management
advice and the provision of advice for offenders deemed as high harm/complex
needs for a range of key stakeholders, including the QLD Parole Board, QCS
Executive Management, Correctional Centres and Probation and Parole
District Offices. The Senior Practitioner is supported, mentored and
supervised by Principal Practitioners in their professional and
operational development within SCS and QCS as a whole.
