About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate
Psychologist to join our team in Ward 1G, Lyell McEwin Hospital.
The successful applicant will work within a multi-disciplinary team and
conduct assessments and intervention with clients who may present with complex
mental health conditions. They may also be delegated to provide support to less
experienced staff and students. The Psychologist will be required to contribute
to the development of service goals and may liaise with partners in government
and non-government services. The Psychologist may also contribute to research
and evaluation of psychological practice and promote new information and
development in the field of psychology.
Training and supervision in the use of a range of assessments and
therapies is provided on an ongoing basis. Targeted supervision by clinicians
within NALHN is also available.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Master of Psychology
(Clinical) or equivalent qualification as recognised by the Psychology Board of
Australia (PsyBA) and you also must hold general registration with the PsyBA.
