1. Contracting Psychologist, Assessments only
Position 1: Assessing Psychologist
EXPERIENCED ADOS-II TRAINED PSYCHOLOGISTS WANTED.
Flexible hours for working parents or those working part time elsewhere and great rates.
We see kids aged 0-18 and provide therapy and a range of different assessments.
We are offering a flexible contracting position to a Psychologist experienced in the following assessments:
- Cognitive (WPPSI, WISC)
- Adaptive (ABAS, Vineland, SRS-2, CBCL etc)
- Psychoeducational
- Autism: ADOS-2, ADI-R, MIGDAS etc.
All assessments and materials provided.
Position available our Kensington clinic. Happpy to offer any weekdays. You would be working independently or with the assessing Speech Pathologists to complete the Autism assessments and independently/ flexibly for other assessments. You may be required to do home/ school/ kinder visits as part of the Autism assessment process (all travel/ time paid).
Parent initials and feedback can be completed via telehealth and report writing can be completed from home if desired.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for therapists who are experienced, able to work independently and also able to collaborate with other members of our assessment and therapy team. Our ideal therapist is flexible, mature and knows how to ask for help when they need it.
If you join, you will be part of a brilliant team of Speech Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists, Dietitians, Counsellors and Music Therapists and have the opportunity to collaborate and be part of a vibrant team.

Things you must have (Selection Criteria):
- Full registration as Psychologist with AHPRA
- ADOS-II trained (if applying for the assessment position)
- Registration with Medicare (assistance provided) as appropriate
- Current Working with Children's Check, International Police Check (if you have lived or worked overseas in the past 10 years), NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have own Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Demonstrated skill in assessment and case management of children, adolescents and families as per the assessments listed above.
- Strong reporting skills & record management, case note taking skills and ethical practice, a basic understanding of the NDIS system
- Demonstrated ability to engage clients effectively
- Ability to manage caseload independently but collaboratively in team environment
- Strong English language skills and ability to work in Australia
- Must have ABN if contracting. Company contractors also accepted.
